Getting Here

Upon arrival in the Mountain Air Force Base area, the nearest major airport is the Boise Airport which is located about 3 miles from the base. The Mountain Air Force Base is located about 50 miles southeast of Boise, ID. Taxi service is available from the airport but can be very pricey. Contact your sponsor for transportation arrangements from the Mountain Air Force Base. If arriving by car, take Interstate 84 to the second exit mile marker 95 and follow American Legion Boulevard. Continue through three stop lights and at the stop sign, turn left and follow the road to another stoplight. At that stoplight, turn right and you will be on Airbase Road. Follow this road 10 miles to Mountain Air Force Base. If military personnel are in need of temporary lodging, contact the Sagebrush Hotel at 445 Falcon Street for reservations.
